Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie (born November 24, 1982) is an American political commentator. She was a former candidate for the US Senate as well as a television presenter on MSNBC. She was also frequently a contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball have announced in the month of May that they would be leaving the show to launch their own show, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts alongside Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has been featured on various networks' programs, including CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball married Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball is able to attribute her political interest to the fact that she was the mother of 2008's primary elections. Also, she watched the US election outcome while in Jordan. She was able observe how the election affected those living in Jordan, and thus she was able to appreciate the global impact US politics has on all people in the world. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's candidate for Congress in Virginia’s 1st congressional District in 2010. She was defeated by Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. From June 2012 through July 2015, she hosted of The Cycle on MSNBC. She created the People's House Project (a political action committee that supports Democratic causes) in May 2017.
